Painting and Drawing Camp – New Projects for 2024
NEW FREEDOM STUDIO: June 17-21, June 24-28, July 1-5, July 8-12, July 15-19
Monday through Friday
9:30 to 12 Noon
June 17-21 Painting Students will learn watercolor and acrylic painting techniques on a variety of surfaces. Instructor: Kate Cramer
June 24-28 Mixed Media Students will experiment with a variety of dry and wet materials on different surfaces. Instructor: Kate Cramer
July 1-5 Drawing Students will utilize a variety of dry materials, like graphite, chalk, charcoal, oil pastels, colored pencils, and markers. Instructor: Kate Cramer
July 8-12 3D Students will explore how to create 3D dimensional art in multiple methods. Projects may include clay, cardboard, paper, paper mache,and found materials. Instructor: Kate Cramer
July 15-19 Under The Sea Join us for a week “Under the Sea” at Summer Art Camp. Throughout the week we’ll be completing art projects using various mediums including watercolor, acrylic paint, clay, mixed media and more. The Ocean awaits you as we explore “Under the Sea” at Summer Art Camp. Instructor: Emily Marcus

Students learn how to create beautiful masterpieces step-by-step, with guidance by our highly talented instructors. We will focus on painting techniques in both acrylic painting and watercolor. Students will spend time drawing and preparing their own work, mixing colors, blending, creating value and emphasis. Classes are designed to meet the needs of beginner and intermediate students.

$160.00 tuition + $25.00 material fee = $185.00
Emmorton Recreation Cost: $185.00 plus $25.00 Emmorton Recreation Registration Fee. Total $210.00

REGISTRATION
A $100.00 deposit or full payment, along with a completed online registration form is required to reserve your class. The balance is due no later than two weeks before the start of class.

WHAT TO BRING AND WEAR
Pack a light snack and filled water bottle.
Bring an oversize T-shirt that easily fits over existing clothes.
CANCELLATION
If a class is canceled, parents will be notified at least 7 days prior to the first scheduled class. If you do not hear from New Freedom Art (NFA), your class will be running as scheduled. NFA reserves the right to make changes in programs, schedules, and instructors, and to cancel classes due to low enrollment.
100% of the deposit will be refunded if class is canceled.
STUDENT BEHAVIOR POLICY
NFA reserves the right to cancel or refuse the registration of a student in a class with no refund, if participation by the student is deemed disruptive or interferes with the learning atmosphere and enjoyment of the class.
